Workshop Fitter / Technician – $50 per Hour

Job Connect are seeking Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitters/Mechanics to join a leading Pump Manufacturing Company’s Workshop in Newcastle, NSW (around Lake Macquarie). If you are an experienced Mechanic or have just started on your journey as a Tradesperson – this role is for you!

As a Workshop based Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for tasks such mounting pumps onto skids and trailers, fitting out hydraulics and piping as well as other maintenance tasks to bring the pumps up to spec.

You will enjoy:

• A competitive pay rate of $50/hr + Over Time and Penalties!

• Stable core hours Monday to Friday shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm

We are seeking Fitters that can work in a team who have:

• Any experience involving industrial workshop equipment
• Hands-on knowledge of anything hydraulics related is highly regarded
• Versatility and adaptability to various machinery and equipment
• Ability to work with a diverse team and work in with Trades and Labour who will support you
