Workshop Boilermakers and Mechanics – Mobile Plant

One of Australia's leading suppliers of Access Equipment and Wet Hire, based in their Darra workshop, is calling out for experienced and dedicated Maintenance Boilermakers and Mechanics to join their ever-growing team.

Experienced Tradespeople or those just starting in their career will be considered!

 

MAINTENANCE BOILERMAKERS

The role will focus mainly on repair work which will include fabrication and crack repair, MIG and possibly Stick Welding on heavy boom lift components and Truck Bodies.

Your role will require:

• Proven experience in MIG welding, Stick welding is a bonus
• Demonstrable ability in fabrication to assist in rebuilds and repair
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent craftsmanship
• Fabrication of workshop equipment like benches, trolleys and trestles

 

MAINTENANCE MECHANICS

The role will mainly range from inspections, repair and full 10 year rebuilds of Truck Mounted Boom Lifts.

We are seeking individuals with:

• Any experience ranging from servicing Light Vehicles to Forklifts or Mobile Plant Machinery will be considered!
• Hands-on knowledge of anything hydraulics related is highly regarded
• Versatility and adaptability to various machinery and equipment
• Ability to work with a team and take on board advice from lessons already learned
