I BELIEVE MY PAY MAY BE INCORRECT AND/OR I NEED AN EXPLANATION ON HOW MY PAY WAS CALCULATED

HOW CAN I CHECK IF I THINK I AM PAYING TOO MUCH TAX EACH WEEK?

Our payroll team can check the Tax Declaration provided when you were onboarded. They can also cross check your tax deducted against the ATO tax tables. Please email your query to accounts@jobconnect.com.au

I RECEIVED MY PAYSLIP, BUT HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THE FUNDS INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT. HOW CAN I RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?

Please remember there can often be delays and holdups when banks are transferring funds between each other. Once you receive your payslip your pay can quite often take overnight to appear in your account. If there is an extended delay please call your bank in the first instance.

HOW CAN I COMMENCE SALARY SACRFICE DEDUCTIONS INTO MY SUPERANNUATION ACCOUNT?

You will need to complete a Salary Sacrifice request form. Please email accounts@jobconnect.com.au for this form.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SPLIT MY PAY BETWEEN MULTIPLE BANK ACCOUNTS?

Yes, this is possible. Contact the payroll department on 1300 884 004 for more information. Please note maximum number is 2 bank accounts

WHY HAVEN’T YOU PAID MY SUPERANNUATION YET?

Superannuation contributions are paid one month in arrears. For instance superannuation earned in the month of July would be paid to your nominated superannuation fund during the month of August.

WHY ARE YOU NOT PAYING SUPERANNUATION ON ALL MY EARNINGS?

Superannuation is only earned on ordinary time hours. The ATO will have more information regarding this. Visit their website for more information.

I’VE LOGGED INTO MY JOB CONNECT PORTAL, BUT THERE IS NO TIMESHEET AVAILABLE FOR ME TO SUBMIT. WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?

I’VE ENTERED MY HOURS INTO THE WRONG WEEKS’ TIMESHEET, CAN YOU HELP?

ONCE I HAVE STARTED WORKING HOW CAN I UPDATE MY BANKING, SUPERANNUATION OR TAX INFORMATION?

Please contact the Job Connect office after you have completed your first day of work on 1300 884 004 and the payroll department will be able to assist with this request.

WHEN WILL I GET PAID?

Job Connect’s pay cycle is Sunday to Monday, with wages transferred on Thursday. There will be occasions where wages are transferred earlier than Thursday. This will depend on receipt of an approved timesheet. Please note – Job Connect cannot guarantee when wages will be deposited into your bank account once we have transferred the bank file as there are many factors that may affect this.

IF A PUBLIC HOLIDAY FALLS ON A NORMAL PAY DAY, WILL MY PAY BE DELAYED?

Job Connect will always endeavour to process your pay as quickly as possible. On National Public Holidays, our offices are closed and pays will be processed on the next working business day. Please call the Job Connect office on 1300 884 004 if you are unsure. Job Connect will also send an email notification prior to the Public Holiday to advise of payroll processing.

I NEED TO GET AN EMPLOYMENT SEPARATION CERTIFICATE. HOW DO I GET A COPY?
