Maintenance Electrician – PLC/Sensor Driven Factory Machines

Job Connect are working with an International Manufacturing Business which produces fast moving consumer goods in the building products space. The Plant is a medium-sized facility (easier to monitor and manage) and roughly five years old so much of the role is dedicated to Preventative Maintenance and Improvement with some Breakdown Response.

 

They are seeking a permanent, full time Trade Qualified Electrician to maintain their modern, sensor-driven Plant that processes market-leading Adhesives and Powdered products.

• Manageable On-Call breakdown structure with stable shift patterns – no bouncing around to different shifts constantly

The role will include:

• Preventative maintenance of PLC and sensor driven manufacturing machines – blenders, mixers, agitators and fast packaging machines
• Routine inspection of plant and machinery
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding when required
• General Electrical Maintenance of Factory facilities

 

The most ideal candidates will possess as desirable but not essential:

• Career history in Electrical Maintenance work in Manufacturing
• Experience implementing preventative and predictive maintenance on mixing and packaging machines as well as conveyor systems
• Knowledge of PLC controlled machines with plant cabling and switchboards
• Experience with a Maintenance Management System
