Job Connect is recruiting for a major force in Mobile Plant Manufacturing and as such seeking Trade Assistants who want not just the next job, but a career pathway and growth in a technical field.
As a Mechanical Trade Assistant, anyone with a background in assisting in Mechanical or Auto Electrical will be heavily considered, as you will play a crucial role in working with our experienced Assemblers and Tradespeople to make some of the highest quality Mobile Plant on the market.
See below tasks that you may be completing based on your skill-set – people will join a specific sub-assembly team that matches their strengths:
– Assisting skilled tradespeople in mechanical tasks and installation of mobile plant components.
– Utilizing any knowledge of wiring to run cabling for Tradespeople to fit off.
– Handling tools and equipment with precision and care.
– Identifying and reporting any issues or hazards.
Ideal candidates for the role will possess:
– Previous experience as a Mechanical TA, Auto Electrical TA, or any exposure to mechanical/electrical installation – campers, trailers, fixed plant, or any similar experience is fantastic!
– Mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work.
– Attention to detail and enjoying quality work.
– Full working rights that will have the ability to convert to permanent employment.
– Reliable transport to attend Eagle Farm at 6am daily.
