Job Connect are seeking Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Welders to join a leading Access Equipment Company’s Workshop in Darra. If you are an experienced Boilermaker or have just embarked on your journey as a Tradesperson – this role is for you!

 

The role will focus mainly on repair work which will include Fabrication and crack repair, MIG and possibly Stick Welding on heavy boom lift components and Truck Bodies. Duties can also include Workshop Expansion tasks like Fabrication and Weld of trolleys, trestles and benches when needed.

Note, training can be provided to newer Boileys that are looking to enhance their career and take it to the next step!

We are seeking Fitters that can work in a team who have:

Your role will require:

• Proven experience in MIG welding, Stick welding is a bonus – mostly Carbon Steel and some Aluminium (desirable if you have that experience)
• Demonstrable ability in fabrication to assist in rebuilds and repair
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent craftsmanship
• Fabrication of workshop equipment like benches, trolleys and trestles
